Kimberly Watty, LMHC, is the Chief Clinical Officer at Genesis Counseling, overseeing the entire clinical team, including clinical directors and all clinical aspects of the practice. She is a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida, providing guidance and mentorship to clinicians in training. Since joining Genesis in 2020, Kimberly has provided therapy in the Boca office and also offers virtual therapy services to clients across Florida, ensuring accessibility to high-quality mental health care.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Kimberly has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, school-based mental health programs, and community behavioral health services. She specializes in working with individuals struggling with mental and behavioral health concerns such as social withdrawal, difficulty concentrating, mood changes, school performance issues, extreme irritability, difficulty sleeping, and significant shifts in behavior or personality. Kimberly has helped clients navigate challenges related to family transitions, anxiety, ADHD and executive functioning, behavioral concerns, and depression. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive therapeutic space where clients can explore their emotions, develop coping skills, and work toward meaningful change.

With years of experience in private practice, Kimberly has identified her specialty in working with individuals ages 10 to 45. She has found great success in treating ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, anxiety disorders, social issues, trauma, and children and families navigating divorce. She is passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community and ensuring that her clients feel validated and empowered in their therapeutic journey.

Kimberly believes in fostering strong therapeutic relationships by meeting clients where they are while encouraging growth, self-awareness, and skill-building. She tailors her approach to each individual’s needs, integrating evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and art therapy to enhance engagement and effectiveness. She is dedicated to breaking down barriers that hinder mental well-being, emphasizing goal-setting, communication, emotional regulation, and practical strategies for long-term success.

Kimberly is in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, Cigna, Aetna, Florida Blue (BCBS), Humana, and TriCare. She also accepts private pay clients, with fees ranging from $175 to $225 per session.
