Pamela’s journey in psychology began at the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She then pursued her passion for helping others by obtaining her Master of Social Work from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. With over 18 years of experience, including extensive work with the Department of Children and Families, Pamela has witnessed firsthand the impact of trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and depression on individuals of all ages. She specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and adults, helping them develop healthy coping strategies and emotional resilience.
Pamela’s therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. She builds strong, trusting relationships with her clients, meeting them where they are and empowering them to make meaningful changes. She integrates Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent Management Training (PMT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs. Pamela is also committed to ongoing professional development and is currently completing her certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
