Alyson Winderbaum, RCSWI

Alyson Winderbaum earned her Master’s in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 2025 and brings a warm, collaborative presence to Genesis Counseling’s Delray Beach office. She enjoys working with young adults in their 20s and 30s, while also drawing from experience supporting children, families, and individuals across all ages.

Alyson takes a client-centered approach to therapy, often incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, and family systems work. She has worked with clients facing anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, substance use concerns, and life transitions.

Alyson values the progress her clients make—whether through small steps or big breakthroughs—and is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to grow.

Located at Genesis Counseling’s Delray Beach office, Alyson is available for in-person and virtual therapy sessions across Florida. Whether you’re navigating the challenges of young adulthood, coping with anxiety or depression, or working through family dynamics, Alyson will meet you where you are and walk alongside you in your journey toward healing and growth.

Alyson is a Clinical Staff Therapist with Genesis Counseling and is in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna,  Florida Blue (BCBS), Curative, and Tricare East. She also accepts private pay clients, with session rates ranging from $125 to $175.
