Shalom Adler is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional dedicated to helping adults find hope, healing, and lasting transformation. He earned his Master of Science degree from Bellevue University and works with adults ages 20–65 who are navigating life’s challenges with courage and resilience.
Shalom has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, attachment concerns, and addiction. He is especially passionate about supporting those in recovery and believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, regardless of their past or current circumstances. His approach is rooted in the belief that every person possesses inherent strengths that can be discovered and developed throughout the therapeutic process.
At the heart of Shalom’s work is the therapeutic relationship. He believes that genuine healing begins when clients feel respected, understood, and accepted without judgment. He values building meaningful connections with his clients, witnessing personal transformation, and helping individuals rediscover hope even during life’s most difficult seasons. His goal is to create an environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences while working collaboratively toward meaningful change.
Shalom’s clinical approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. He utilizes evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed interventions to tailor treatment to each client’s unique strengths, goals, and needs. He believes therapy should be individualized and practical, empowering clients with tools they can use to create lasting growth beyond the therapy room.
Above all, Shalom is committed to meeting clients where they are with empathy, dignity, and respect. He understands that many people silently carry feelings of shame, fear, and hopelessness, and he strives to create a supportive space where healing can begin. Whether clients are working through trauma, managing anxiety or depression, navigating addiction recovery, or seeking personal growth, Shalom partners with them to identify their strengths, overcome obstacles, and build a life aligned with their goals and values.
