Keira D’Alessio, RMHCI, earned her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2024. Her clinical approach is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical skills to navigate everyday challenges.

Keira enjoys working with adults who are experiencing day-to-day challenges, including anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and difficulties managing everyday responsibilities. She provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable being open and vulnerable while working through their concerns and developing practical coping strategies.

Keira primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy techniques. She incorporates these approaches based on each client’s individual needs and goals, using therapy as a collaborative process to establish trust, build coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and support meaningful change.

During her student internship, Keira gained clinical experience working with adults experiencing substance use concerns and significant mental health diagnoses, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. She provided both individual and group therapy, developing experience in building therapeutic rapport, facilitating group discussions, providing emotional support, and helping clients develop coping strategies and work toward their treatment goals.

Keira values creating a sense of trust and safety within the therapeutic relationship, building genuine connections where clients feel heard and understood, and working collaboratively toward growth. Her goal is to meet clients where they are, recognize their strengths, and help them feel supported and empowered as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.

Keira is a clinician with Genesis Counseling and is in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, Florida Blue (BCBS), Curative, and Tricare East. She also accepts private pay clients, with session rates ranging from $125 to $175.
