Stephanie Roque is a warm, insightful clinician who brings a developmentally attuned and strengths-based approach to her work with children, adolescents, and young adults. Based at Genesis Counseling’s Pompano Beach office, Stephanie helps young people and their families navigate the emotional challenges that often come with growing up, discovering identity, and managing life transitions.

Stephanie earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. As a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern, she specializes in supporting clients through emotional regulation, anxiety, social anxiety, ADHD, grief, stress, burnout, and life changes. She is also trained to work with individuals experiencing self-harm behaviors and suicidal ideation, providing care that is compassionate, trauma-informed, and age-appropriate.

Her therapeutic style blends client-centered therapy, mindfulness, and the principles of positive psychology, creating a space that is safe, collaborative, and empowering. Stephanie focuses on:

• Emotional identification and regulation in children

• Social anxiety and academic stress in teens and young adults

• Burnout, life transitions, and identity exploration across ages

• Grief and loss, ADHD, and self-harm intervention

Sessions with Stephanie—whether in-person at the Pompano office or via telehealth throughout Florida—emphasize trust-building, psychoeducation, and lasting skill development. She works at the client’s pace, honoring their voice and goals, while gently guiding them toward clarity, confidence, and long-term well-being.

Stephanie is an Independent Contractor with Genesis Counseling and is in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Florida Blue, and Tricare East. She also welcomes private pay clients, with session rates ranging from $125 to $175.
