Michaelle Valcourt, MSN, APRN, PMHNP

Michaelle Valcourt, MSN, PMHNP, is a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Nurse Practitioner joining Genesis Counseling in December. She provides virtual medication management services for clients of all ages, combining medical expertise with a warm, client-centered approach to care.

Michaelle earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing and is licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She enjoys working most with children, teens, and young adults, finding it deeply rewarding to help them build emotional intelligence, develop healthy coping skills, and learn to advocate for their mental health early on. Having witnessed how early intervention can transform lives, Michaelle is passionate about being part of that journey.

Her clinical approach is collaborative and individualized, focused on building trust and tailoring treatment to each client’s needs. She integrates evidence-based modalities that promote emotional resilience, self-awareness, and growth, including:

Michaelle believes clients are the experts of their own lives, and her role is to walk alongside them—providing guidance, tools, and evidence-based strategies to help them reach their goals and continue thriving beyond therapy.

As an Independent Contractor with Genesis Counseling, Michaelle is in-network with major insurance providers, including United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, Florida Blue (BCBS), Curative, Quest, and Tricare East.
