Ashley McFarlane is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida, providing therapy at Genesis Counseling’s Coral Springs office and virtually throughout Florida. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and brings a warm, collaborative, and grounded presence to her clinical work.

Ashley works with adults, older adults, first responders, veterans, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. She specializes in helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance use, ADHD, OCD, bereavement, and stress-related disorders including PTSD and acute stress disorder.

Her clinical approach integrates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and grief work, allowing her to tailor treatment to each client’s unique goals and experiences. In session, Ashley creates a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to move toward healing and growth. She encourages openness and curiosity, helping clients discover new perspectives and build the tools needed for lasting change.

Ashley is deeply committed to lifelong learning and to expanding her therapeutic skills to best support the diverse needs of her clients. She considers it an honor to witness their resilience—seeing them overcome challenges, rediscover hope, and move forward with confidence and clarity.

As a clinician with Genesis Counseling, Ashley is in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, FL Blue (BCBS), Curative,  and Tricare East, and she also accepts private pay clients, with session fees ranging from $175–$275.
