Emily Davine-Susman is a fun, charismatic, and dedicated therapist at Genesis Counseling, working in our Coral Springs office and virtually throughout Florida. She is passionate about creating a nonjudgmental and safe space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Holding a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, Emily is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. She has specialized Gottman Level 1 Couples Therapy training, enabling her to help couples improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, and resolve conflicts. Emily also works with teens and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, family conflict, and trauma. With a natural ability to connect with her clients, she brings warmth, humor, and insight into the therapy room, making the process both effective and engaging.

Emily’s approach is collaborative and client-centered, blending Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused techniques to support her clients in recognizing their strengths and developing healthier coping strategies. She has extensive experience working with high-risk teens, adolescents, and adults, helping them build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self. Her work with couples is informed by evidence-based Gottman strategies to promote lasting relational growth.

As an Independent Contractor with Genesis Counseling, Emily is in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, FL Blue (BCBS), Curative, and Tricare East. She also welcomes private pay clients, with session fees ranging from $175-$250.
