Hannah Lee, RMHCI

Therapist (All Ages)
Boca Office

Hannah Lee, RMHCI, is a dedicated Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida at Genesis Counseling, providing compassionate and effective therapy for children and adults. Hannah’s work is rooted in a holistic, trauma-informed approach that honors the connection between the mind, body, and nervous system. She works with both children and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression, using a relational, developmentally attuned, and compassionate approach.

She specializes in developmental and relational trauma, particularly childhood experiences that continue to shape how individuals relate to themselves and others in adulthood. Hannah believes lasting change occurs through emotionally attuned work that goes beyond surface-level coping strategies. She is trained in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), attachment- and trauma-based approaches that help clients safely process distressing experiences, access core emotions, and heal relational wounds.

Hannah integrates EMDR, AEDP, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and CBT to support healing on emotional, neurological, and physiological levels. Her work is grounded in mindfulness and somatic-based practices, often incorporating breathwork, grounding, and body-based awareness, to support nervous system regulation and emotional safety. While insight and skills are important, she believes deeper emotional processing allows the brain to form new neural pathways, supporting lasting shifts in thoughts, beliefs, and patterns.

Warm, relational, and deeply compassionate, Hannah views healing as a process that unfolds when individuals feel seen, supported, and safe enough to turn inward with curiosity rather than fear. Her goal is to help clients build internal safety, trust their emotional experience, and move through life with greater confidence, regulation, and authenticity.

In addition to her work with adults, Hannah works with children and is trained in play therapy and sand tray therapy. She enjoys supporting neurodivergent children and is committed to creating an environment where they feel accepted, understood, and safe to express themselves.

Hannah is a Clinical Staff Therapist at Genesis Counseling and is in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, FL Blue (BCBS), Curative, and Tricare East. She also welcomes private pay clients, with session rates ranging from $125–$175.
