Megean Reiman, RMHCI

Megean Reiman is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor in California. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2021 and is currently completing her PsyD in Applied Clinical Psychology. She is based at Genesis Counseling’s Wellington, Florida office and provides both in-person counseling and virtual therapy services to clients throughout the state of Florida.

Megean works with children, adolescents, families, and adults, offering a warm, relational, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. She has extensive experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral challenges, trauma, self-harm, LGBTQ+ population and attachment-related concerns. In addition, she has worked in dual diagnosis and substance use recovery, and she provides family therapy with a focus on strengthening relationships and creating healthier patterns at home.

She believes that healing begins with authentic connection and views therapy as a safe and collaborative space where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. Her style is compassionate and strengths-based, and she draws on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. With children and teens, she incorporates developmentally attuned approaches including play therapy, expressive arts, and talk therapy to help them develop emotional awareness, coping skills, and resilience. She also partners with parents and caregivers, providing guidance and strategies to support their child’s growth and well-being.

Above all, Megean strives to create a therapeutic space where clients feel grounded and empowered to move forward in their lives. She sees therapy not as a process of fixing, but as an opportunity to uncover and strengthen the resilience, clarity, and self-understanding that already exist within each person.

Megean is an Independent Contractor with Genesis Counseling and is in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, BlueCrossBlueShield, Florida Blue, and Tricare East. She also accepts private pay clients, with session rates ranging from $125 to $175.
