Shana Auerbach, Student Intern

Adult Therapist
Coral Springs and Delray Office

Shana Aurbach is a student intern clinician who enjoys working with adults (18+) navigating life’s transitions and challenges. She brings a grounded, compassionate presence to therapy and values authenticity, emotional safety, and collaboration within the therapeutic relationship. Shana believes therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely seen, respected, and accepted, and she strives to create a nonjudgmental space rooted in empathy and curiosity.

Her clinical approach is client-centered and strengths-based, grounded in the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives. Shana draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care, tailoring each session to the individual’s needs, pace, and goals while honoring autonomy and lived experience.

Shana’s clinical training is in progress, with experience supporting adults facing anxiety, stress, grief and loss, caregiver strain, chronic illness, and adjustment-related concerns. She has a particular interest in working with individuals navigating major life changes, caregiving roles, and the emotional impact of long-term health conditions. Her background in mindfulness and meditation informs her work, helping clients build emotional regulation, grounding skills, and self-awareness.

In addition to her clinical training, Shana is a certified meditation guide with experience leading mindfulness and meditation practices. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Decision Information Sciences from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with dual concentrations in Management and Marketing. With over 20 years of experience in corporate environments, she brings a practical understanding of workplace stress, burnout, leadership challenges, career transitions, and work–life balance.

Shana’s goal in therapy is to provide a supportive, compassionate space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped with tools to navigate their lives with greater clarity and confidence. She approaches therapy with respect, curiosity, and collaboration, meeting clients where they are while supporting meaningful and sustainable change.
