Susan Lloyd Merrick, PsyD, HSPP

Dr. Susan Lloyd-Merrick is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in trauma therapy for adults and adolescents. She earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2008.

Dr. Lloyd-Merrick’s therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel seen, heard, and understood.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lloyd-Merrick serves as the Supervisory Biller and Compliance Officer for all Genesis Counseling locations, ensuring the highest standards of billing accuracy and regulatory compliance across the organization.
