Delray Office

Jodi McKinniss, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and older adults. She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of West Florida in December 2022.

Jodi especially enjoys working with middle-aged and geriatric women, couples, and teens struggling in school or navigating life challenges. She has a strong passion for helping clients heal from unresolved childhood wounds and family-related hurts, supporting them as they process resentment, rebuild self-understanding, and move toward healthier relationships and emotional well-being.

Her clinical approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and rooted in helping clients identify and break maladaptive patterns in thoughts and behaviors. Jodi values building strong rapport, identifying meaningful goals, and creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel supported and empowered throughout the process.

Jodi incorporates a variety of evidence-based and experiential approaches into therapy, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Recreational Therapy. She is DBT intensively trained and enjoys helping clients discover who they are now, clarify who they want to become, and develop the tools needed to bridge that gap.

Her clinical experience includes working with clients experiencing substance use disorders (SUD), depression (MDD), anxiety (GAD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), ADHD, bipolar disorder, and schizoaffective disorder. She has experience supporting individuals across a variety of ages and backgrounds, helping them navigate emotional challenges and improve overall functioning and quality of life.

Jodi’s goal in therapy is to help clients live fulfilling and satisfying lives by reconciling their past selves with who they are today. She focuses on helping clients identify their strengths, build resilience, and prevent personal struggles or weaknesses from becoming barriers to happiness, connection, and success.

Jodi is a Clinical Staff Therapist with Genesis Counseling and is in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, FL Blue (BCBS), Curative, Quest, and Tricare East. She also accepts private pay clients, with session rates ranging from $175 to $225.

Outside of the therapy room, Jodi enjoys building Legos with her husband and traveling.
