Jackie Gilreath is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida, working in Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Delray Beach and virtually throughout the state. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida International University. She is licensed in the state of Florida. Jackie has gained experience providing individual, group and family therapy for those struggling with substance abuse and mental illness. Through these experiences Jackie developed her passion for working with individuals and families who have been impacted by trauma and the substance use/ recovery process.
Jackie is trained in EMDR. She utilizes evidenced based practice in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use/recovery, and life transitions. Jackie works with a variety of techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, emotion regulation techniques and frustration tolerance techniques. Jackie works with teens and adults. In therapy Jackie helps her clients to identify mal-adaptive patterns and barriers as to empower them to utilize healthier coping skills to meet their goals. Jackie strives to build a trusting and honest environment with her clients.
Jackie has been in private practice for several years. She has identified her specialty to be working with ages 20-45. Jackie has success in working with and treating post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, recovery/addiction issues, and social issues. Jackie also works with families of Jewish decent and members of the LGBTQ+ population.
