Chrissy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor offering virtual therapy for teens and adults throughout the state of Florida. Chrissy is a graduate from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, where she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology as well as a master’s degree in counseling and psychology. Chrissy is a clinical director working with clinicians in our Boca Raton, Coral Springs and Delray Beach offices.
Chrissy believes the biggest predictor of client success is in an individual’s ability to feel comfortable and safe as they process life’s stressors, and to trust the therapist they work with. She takes pride in creating a safe, welcoming environment to help people feel like they matter.
Her goal as a clinician is to meet clients where they are at and enjoys working with people who are seeking a positive change in their life. Over the last decade, she has worked collaboratively with teens and adults of diverse populations who are struggling with navigating life, coping with unexpected life changes, and helping those living with mood and anxiety disorders experience relief. With prior work experience in the outpatient and intensive outpatient level of care, she is skilled in working with clients who need help building skills for increasing personal safety and who benefit from structured mental health care.
Chrissy is an eclectic therapist who uses different therapeutic approaches in response to client’s individualized needs. She has extensive experience with person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal and social rhythm therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques, solution-focused brief therapy, and is a certified clinical trauma professional as well as a certified provider of dialectical behavioral therapy.

Chrissy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the State of Florida. She is an Independent Contractor and Clinical Director with Genesis Counseling. Chrissy is In-Network with the following insurance panels: United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, FL Blue, BCBS, Humana and TriCare. Chrissy accepts private pay clients with a fee range of $175-225.
