Christina Song, LMHC, LMFT, is a dually licensed therapist and Clinical Director at Genesis Counseling in Coral Springs. With extensive clinical experience, she has worked in a variety of settings, including domestic violence shelters, crisis intervention services, juvenile justice programs, and intensive outpatient care, providing compassionate, trauma-informed therapy to individuals facing PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, sexual trauma, and life transitions.
Specializing in LGBTQ+ mental health and identity development, Christy is an affirming therapist for clients exploring gender identity, sexuality, and relationship structures. She works with individuals at all stages of their identity journey and has extensive experience supporting non-traditional relationships, including polyamorous, open, and kink-involved dynamics. Christy also has expertise in working with individuals navigating narcissistic abuse, sexual trauma, and self-esteem challenges.
As an eclectic therapist, Christy integrates Collaborative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Bowenian Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Expressive Therapies (including Art and Play Therapy), Narrative Therapy, and Family Therapy. She believes in creating a safe, judgment-free space for clients to process their experiences, work through struggles, and cultivate resilience and self-acceptance.
Christy is a Qualified Supervisor and plays an active leadership role in guiding and mentoring therapists at Genesis Counseling. She is in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, Cigna, Aetna, Florida Blue / BCBS, Humana, and TriCare. She also accepts private pay clients, with a session fee range of $175–$225.
