Pamela Artlip is a compassionate mental health counselor dedicated to guiding individuals through life’s challenges towards healing and growth. Pamela’s journey in psychology began at the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She later pursued her passion for helping others by obtaining her Master of Social Work from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
Pamela is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI) in the state of Florida, working in our Delray Beach office and virtually throughout the state. Pamela is currently working towards completing her licensing hours. She enjoys working with a wide range of clients from younger children to older adults. With over 18 years of experience, Pamela has witnessed firsthand the impact of trauma on her clients’ lives, particularly through her work with the Department of Children and Families.
Pamela’s therapeutic approach is grounded in building strong relationships with her clients, meeting them where they are, and empowering them to develop effective coping strategies. She specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and depression, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent Management Training (PMT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
Pamela is committed to ongoing professional development and is currently completing her certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She holds certifications in TF-CBT and Motivational Interviewing, underscoring her dedication to providing the highest quality care to her clients.
Pamela is dedicated to helping her clients achieve measurable improvements in satisfaction and symptom reduction. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and a profound commitment to her clients’ well-being. She looks forward to continuing her work with children, adolescents, and adults, guiding them towards a brighter, more fulfilling future.
Pamela is a Master’s Level, Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in the State of Florida. She is an Independent Contractor with Genesis Counseling. Pamela is In-Network with the following insurance panels: United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, BlueCrossBlueShield, Florida Blue, Humana and Tricare East. Pamela accepts private pay clients and is able to offer a reduced or sliding scale fee for private pay clients with a range of $125-$175.
