Zaneb Mansha is a dedicated and compassionate social worker, holding a Master of Social Work with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling from Ohio State University. She is Licensed in the State of Ohio and is a Registered Social Worker Intern in the State of Florida working to complete her hours toward her Florida License. Zaneb works out of our Coral Springs Office and virtually throughout Florida and Ohio.
Zaneb enjoys working with high-achieving and motivated clients, particularly those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including children, adolescents, and young adults, dealing with stress, life transitions, and communication/social issues.
Zaneb values the therapeutic setting as a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can openly express their thoughts and emotions. She incorporates family sessions throughout the therapeutic process to provide holistic support, foster stronger relationships, and tailor approaches for each individual client to achieve positive outcomes.
Her clinical approach is holistic and integrative, combining various therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each client. She employs a strategic approach to counseling, often incorporating homework assignments to reinforce therapeutic goals. Some of her favorite techniques include:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Utilizing the thought record technique to help clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Helping clients develop skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Mindfulness Techniques: Promoting awareness and presence to enhance emotional regulation and stress management.
- Art Therapy Techniques: Facilitating self-expression and emotional exploration, particularly for clients who may find it challenging to articulate their feelings verbally.
- Play Therapy Techniques: Engaging younger clients in a natural and comfortable way to aid in their emotional and psychological development.
Zaneb enjoys working with clients aged 5-32, addressing issues such as ADHD, anxiety disorders, life coaching, coping skills, family conflict, peer relationships, relationship issues, school issues, stress, trauma, life transitions, disordered eating, and self-esteem. She collaborates closely with school and medical teams, providing therapeutic services both in-person and via telehealth.
Zaneb’s primary goal is to guide clients in learning essential skills and techniques to handle life’s ups and downs effectively, enabling them to achieve their fullest potential. She believes in working closely with clients, offering support and understanding throughout their journey of growth and self-discovery. Clients can expect a compassionate and empowering environment where they can build resilience and confidence.
Outside of her counseling role, Zaneb serves as a recreation specialist managing therapeutic activities for children with a focus on ADHD. Her experience as a Pre-K teacher further enriches her understanding of child development and behavior management, allowing her to offer a well-rounded and informed approach to therapy. Coming from a diverse background, Zaneb brings a deep level of understanding and empathy to her interactions with clients.
Zaneb is a Registered Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. She is Licensed in Ohio. Zaneb is an Independent Contractor with Genesis Counseling. She is in-network with the following insurance panels; United Healthcare, Optum, Cigna, Aetna, FL Blue, BCBS, Humana, Tricare. Zaneb accepts private pay clients with a fee range of $125-$175.
