Sponsorships for Individuals and Families who need mental health counseling

Dear Potential Sponsor,

I am writing you concerning a matter of great importance, to both the giver and the receiver. For over 12 years I have worked in the field of mental and behavioral health, supporting families in need. My vision has been to create a private practice where individuals and families are provided the counseling they need and deserve in a setting that is safe, comfortable and healing. A few of the obstacles I found while working in not-for-profits were that people would come in seeking help and be placed on waiting lists months long. When these families finally did come in for their initial appointment, they were seen by a therapist fresh out of graduate school, not knowing how to juggle the complexities of their struggles. Further, they were limited in the frequency of their visits, only 26 visits in one calendar year. In the 12 years I worked in this sector, I did not bear witness to much healing, only to placing band-aids on these issues.

My vision and mission is to provide healing to those in need. When our wounds are not healed, this leads to:

  • family systemic problems
  • abuse, addiction
  • lack of quality education
  • health issues
  • legal issues
  • relationship issues

The drain on ourselves, our loved ones and society becomes taxing. It is so imperative that we take care of our mental, emotional and behavioral health needs.

For this reason, I am creating a branch of my business devoted to those who need services but cannot afford to pay full price. In order to make this happen, I am seeking out sponsors like YOU to make one-time or ANNUAL donations to support these individuals and families get the help and support they need. For an individual or family to receive services for 1 month it cost $600 to cover their services.

I am sincerely grateful for your support!

with Grade & Gratitude,

Jennifer Bishop, LMHC
