Bayla Applebaum graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Bayla is currently working towards completing her licensure hours as a Registered Marital and Family Therapy Intern (RMFTI). Bayla works in the Coral Springs office and virtually throughout the state of Florida.
Bayla values the connection of the therapeutic relationship, and one of her favorite parts of the therapeutic process is witnessing a client reclaim their authority over their lived experiences. Bayla believes that we often lose our voice in the noise of the world around us. She likes to help clients hone whatever tools they need to reclaim their voice and feel more confident. Bayla likes to work with clients on empowerment, learning assertiveness skills, and accountability. Her goal is to create a safe space for clients to be themselves, discover their possibilities, and heal whatever may need healing without worrying or fearing judgment.
Bayla has experience working with various populations including children, teens, adults, couples, families, women, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
Bayla is a Master’s Level, Registered Marriage & Family Therapy Intern in the State of Florida. She is an Independent Contractor with Genesis Counseling. Balya is able to see clients with the following insurances: United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, BlueCrossBlueShield, Florida Blue, Humana and Tricare East. Bayla accepts private pay clients and is able to offer a reduced or sliding scale fee for private pay clients with a range of $125-$175.le fee for private pay clients with a range of $125-$175.
