Chiezda “Chi Chi” Mashava graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and is currently working towards completing her licensure hours. Chi Chi is a Registered Marital and Family Therapy Intern (RMFTI) working in Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Delray Beach, and virtually throughout the state of Florida.
Chi Chi believes that change is a process that a client must be ready for, and she strives to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe and welcoming. Chi Chi holds her clients’ hands as she walks with them on the journey of co-creating the narrative of their life.
Chi Chi works with adolescents, college students, young adults and couples who are suffering with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, coping skills and the LGBTQIA+ population. Her goal is to meet clients where they are and to help them achieve their desired outcomes.
Chi Chi is a Master’s Level, Registered Marriage & Family Therapist Intern in the State of Florida. She is an Independent Contractor with Genesis Counseling. Chi Chi is able to see clients with the following insurances: United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, BlueCrossBlueShield, Florida Blue, Humana and Tricare East. Chi Chi accepts private pay clients and is able to offer a reduced or sliding scale fee for private pay clients with a range of $125-$175.
