Rebecca Joseph is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida, working in Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Delray Beach and virtually throughout the state. She is currently working towards completing her licensure hours. Rebecca obtained her Master’s Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Applied Behavioral Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. Rebecca is a proud Florida native, born and raised in Miami, Florida. She is passionate about her Haitian heritage, and is fluent in both English and Creole.
Rebecca has over 15 years of experience working with a wide range of children to adults in the mental health field. She has worked with a diverse group of clients and is able to meet their mental and behavioral health needs on a personal level. Rebecca works with clients who deal with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, family-related issues, and behavioral issues. She leads with a trauma informed approach, incorporating a variety of modalities, such as narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, person centered and talk therapy.
Rebecca has been in private practice for several years. She has identified her specialty has working with clients ages 18-45. She has found success in treating trauma specifically history of sexual abuse and self-harm, anxiety and depressive disorders, couples and clients who are seeking a Christian therapist. Rebecca is Creole speaking and can conduct sessions in Creole.
Rebecca is a Master’s Level, Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with the State of Florida. She is an Independent Contractor with Genesis Counseling. Rebecca is In-Network with the following insurance panels: United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, BlueCrossBlueShield, Florida Blue, Humana and Tricare East. Rebecca accepts private pay clients and can offer a reduced fee for private pay clients with a range of $125-$175.
