Monica Gallino graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Masters of Social Work. Monica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida, working in Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Delray Beach and virtually throughout the state. She is a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida. Monica has over 15 years of experience providing therapy to many diverse populations. She has worked in settings such as; outpatient, in-home, residential and groups. Monica specializes in working with addiction, recovery, depression, anxiety, unresolved trauma and behavior modification.
Monica has been in private practice for several years. She is the Nova Southeastern Student Intern Clinical Supervisor. She has identified her specialty has working with clients ages 25-55. Monica has found success working with and treating clients who present with body image issues, disordered eating, history of addiction for self or family, childhood trauma, anxiety disorders, depression and self-esteem. Monica enjoys working with victims of traumatic events and members of the LGBTQ+ population.
Monica is certified in EMDR. She is well versed in using different modalities with her clients, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-education, Person Centered, Strength Based, Trauma Informed, Solution-Focused, Talk Therapy, Music Therapy Techniques, Mindfulness, and Normalizing Stigma.
