Emily Jurich earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University in 2020. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Couples and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University, with an expected graduation date in August of 2024.

Emily’s therapeutic journey began with a focus on group therapy, where she provided support to individuals dealing with addiction issues and various mental health conditions. Through this experience, she gained valuable insights into working with a broad spectrum of mental health diagnoses, including bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, PTSD, depression, and more. Emily enjoys working with a wide variety of populations including the LGBTQIA+ community and those with complex backgrounds.

During her time at the Brief Therapy Institute at Nova Southeastern University, Emily discovered her passion for solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT). At the heart of SFBT lies the notion of hope, which Emily values immensely. She places great emphasis on fostering hope in her work with clients, recognizing its transformative power as a catalyst for change.

In addition to her practicing in SFBT, Emily also integrates narrative therapy and contextual therapy techniques when working with couples and families. Her versatile approach allows her to meet clients where they are in their therapeutic journey, tailoring her methods to support their individual goals and aspirations. Emily’s commitment lies in providing compassionate care, facilitating personal growth, and helping clients progress toward their desired outcomes. Emily has dedication to understanding and supporting the unique needs of each client.
