Lauren Tagliola graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. She is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) in the state of Florida, working in Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Delray Beach and virtually throughout the state. She is currently working towards completing her licensure hours. She enjoys working with a wide range of clients from younger children to young adults.
Lauren values the therapeutic alliance. She prioritizes the therapeutic relationship to build a sense of safety and comfort for her clients to learn to entrust her with their struggles, hopes and dreams. Lauren establishes a therapeutic alliance by informing clients that her goal is for them to feel safe and comfortable. She helps them to understand that there are no expectations outside of the therapist’s desire to create this safe space for them.
Lauren’s clinical approach includes utilizing a humanistic, person-centered approach while incorporating narrative and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. She incorporates expressive play and art therapy techniques. Lauren enjoys using these modalities to help clients be reminded of their strengths rather than focusing on their weaknesses. She works with clients to focus on growth areas and then uses these strengths to help guide them to set small and long-term goals.
Lauren’s clinical training experience includes working with clients struggling with mental health and addiction issues, clients navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, family and relational issues, and LGBTQ+ and identity-related issues. Lauren is passionate about working with children, teens, young adults and adults.
Lauren Tagliola is a Master’s Level, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the State of Florida. She is an Independent Contractor with Genesis Counseling. Lauren is In-Network with the following insurance panels: United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, BlueCrossBlueShield, Florida Blue, Humana and Tricare East. Lauren accepts private pay clients and can offer a reduced or sliding scale fee for private pay clients with a range of $125-$175.
