Lauren Fisher graduated from the University of Florida with dual Master’s and Specialist degrees in Counselor Education with a focus on Mental Health Counseling. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, working at the Coral Springs office. She enjoys working with a wide range of clients from younger children to older adults.
Lauren values developing a strong therapeutic relationship with all of her clients as she believes it is the basis for personal growth and healing to occur. She makes sure to tailor treatment to each individual client as she maintains ongoing collaboration and communication with them. She understands that individuals are resilient, and they have the power within themselves to gain self-awareness and make positive changes in their lives. Her overall goal is to create a safe and supportive space in order for important and meaningful conversations to take place.
Lauren has been in private practice for several years. Her experience with clients includes navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, eating disorders, autism spectrum disorders, family and relational issues, and LGBTQ+ and identity-related issues. Lauren has identified her specialty to be working with ages 6-35. She has found success in working with and treating Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Children/Teens who are dealing with high-functioning Autism Spectrum, Anxiety Disorders and Social Issues and Play Therapy.
